The Superior Sex.

Since the beginning of times, men have succeeded in every conceivable field, proving that they are able to conquer the boundaries of the mind's eye. Needless to say, man hasinherited, generation by generation, his reputation of power, strength, and colossal intelligence. Therefore, when referring to triumphant people names like Newton, Da Vinci, and Washington may be partof everyone’s notion. Perhaps, that is why male gender has crowned itself as the strongest sex. Notwithstanding, in our modern society, an interesting dilemma has ironically emerged, “Who representsthe superior sex?” Actually, the response is women since they have both gradually gotten ahead, and prudently shined their titanic intellect. So surprisingly or not, women are the superior sex,contrary to popular belief, because of their features of intelligence, health, and personality.

Some clear points in which women show to have a higher level than men are academic and emotionalintelligence. In the past, most of the greatest inventions were achieved by men; however, it was not because men were smarter than women. Women had the function of staying at home, raising their children,cleaning, cooking, and washing instead of discovering new things. At the present time, things have changed. Women have the chance to go to school and prove that they have better capacities than men. Since1991, there are more graduated women from college than men. Furthermore, women are able to think on their feet. A study carried out by Vanderbilt University researchers in 2006 determined that womenscore better in timed intelligence test than men. Another important fact that has to do with women’s intelligence is that they mature, on the average, three years earlier than men.
