Globalization as much as the cold war are two topics that although they look like in many issues, both of them brought many changes to society in their respective eras.Both systems are considered by the author as “international system”. I agree with him, because both caused changes not only in the country where they started, but also around the world.
The ColdWar had a balance between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, this war created a lot of new things. In this system, little towns should benefit the big enterprises in their country. The Cold War isremembered by its ruling ideas; one of them is that capitalism and communism, they could not be together.
He also said that the world is a large space divided in communists’ camps, western and neutral.I see this as today: left, right and center parties. Although in our country we are more right than anything else.
At this period of history, they created thousands of nuclear weapons, consideredstarting a second industrial revolution.
In the era of globalization, we also see as in the Cold War that is considered an international system and like the previous movement, had its ownattributes. However, this movement was not static, it was dynamic.
Globalization includes among these attributes, market integration, union of nations and of course, new technologies and the urbanizationof rural areas.
The main idea of globalization has to do with capitalism: free markets, computerization, digitalization, satellite, fiber optics and its most powerful weapon: the Internet.Unlike the cold war, globalization, supports free purchase and sale, wholesale, free sale, supply and demand, etc.. It is a system that allows its members the opportunity to grow and improve in theirdaily lives.
