The necessity of solving society problems and working in business opportunities has promoted an organizational culture, for that reason Project Management is being used in more application areas as acombination of different comprises to execute processes and operations under a continuo monitoring and control.

Project Management is the result of different experiences, analysis and studies,where companies have realised how important the organization and team working is to accomplish project goals.

In my opinion, Project Management is the interaction of different factors in the executionof projects in a specific period of time. Some of these comprises are knowledge, tools, plans, experiences and different activities that allow controlling processes to achieve the projectrequirements as planned.

Project management application has several phases during project execution. At the beginning, a detailed plan helps to determinate the most appropriate way to follow and the facts tohave into account during the project cycle. At the same time, planning is useful to minimize possible risks while project activities are developed.

The next step is the execution, wheresimultaneous processes are executed and controlled to reach the project objectives.

Finally, the project cycle has an evaluation phase, when the team check that activities have been executed and the projectobjectives have been achieved according to initial plan.

This organizational scheme is applicable to any sector of industry or business, because allow the sequence execution of activitiespreviously planned and studied, improving efficiency carrying out a project.

I think one of the most outstanding issue faced by the project management community is the participation in areas where societydidn’t consider project management was applicable.
