1. Diseases and hard times
During our entire life, wefind different situations which are difficult to accept, but to continue with our life we need to learn how to deal with them. Sometimes, one of our family members or someone we love gets sick from avery complicated disease, this is something that hurts us, because we want that person to be fine and we want to make him/her feel better, but unfortunately, we aren’t able to do anything to cure them.In this cases, all what we can do is accept the situation, so that we can help that person to overcome his/her sickness.
In the movie we can see how Landon is afraid of losing Jamie, because shehas leukemia. When he realizes that he can’t cure her, he decides to make take care of her and make her happy, so he gave her all he could, specially his love and attention, so that it was easier forher and her father to deal with Jamie’s sickness.
With this example, we can realize that when we are facing a hard situation, we must do what is in our hands, and must important, we need to acceptthose problems so that we can help the other ones to feel better and to reduce their suffering.

2. Social Problems
In the movie we can see how Landon’s friends made laugh at Jamie, they were alwaysmaking jokes and invented things about her. Jamie wasn’t affected by them because she knew who she really was, and that they were very immature, even though, one day they made bad joke and put her facein a photograph to embarrass her, which made her feel very sad.
It is very common to find people who doesn’t like us, or people who just want to cause us some damage. When we are facing this type ofconflict, it is very important for us to have clear what we want and who we are, because those people just want to make us feel insecure.
