Introduction

The Mafia(mob) is a criminal brotherhood that emerged in the mid 19th century in Sicily. It’s an association of criminal groups that share a common organizational structure and codeof conduct.These criminal groups usually works in a town,village or neighbourhood.Some of the most poupular names of the mafia are: The Camorra, The Stidda.However Giovanni Falcone , the antimafiajudge who was killed by the Mafia,objected to the inflation of the use of "Mafia" to organized crime in general.

SCARFACE

Is a 1983 American epic crime drama film directed by Brian De Palma andstarring Al Pacino as Tony Montana. The films tells the story of a cuban refugee who comes to Miami. Montana becomes a ganster against the backdrop of the 1980s cocaine boom. The film chronicles his riseto the top of Miami’s criminal underworld an the fall, when he dies at the end of the film.The initial critical response to Scarface was mixed,with the film receiving criticism for its violence andgraphic language.

Well, I’m going to talk about the plot of the film.
Antonio Montana arrives in Miami in a boat with his best friend Manolo “Manny” Ribera, they are sent to a refugee camp butwealthy drug dealer Frank Lopez arranges for them to obtain green cards.

Tony agrees to carry out a job for Omar Suarez, buying cocaine from Colombian dealers but the deal goes bad and Tony kills himwith a chainsaw.Tony takes the money and cocaine to Frank personally. Frank’s likes Tony’s style and hires Tony and Manny as low-level enforcers. Tony develops an interest in Frank’s girlfriend,Elvira.Months later, Tony visits his mother, Georgina, and his younger sister, Gina. She excited to see him but his criminal life disgusts his mother.
