Depression, the problem of our achievements
The American Psychological Association (Apa) defines depression as: “is more than just sadness. People with depression may experience a lack of interest and pleasurein daily activities, significant weight loss or gain, insomnia or excessive sleeping, lack of energy, inability to concentrate, feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt and recurrent thoughts ofdeath or suicide.” This problem most of the times caused bad grades, and when the student get a bag grade that make him fell worse because his or her academic achievement is going lower more and more.According to a Javeriana University research, (Caracterización de la Depresión en Jóvenes Universitarios. Enero-Junio 2004) In some cases bad academic achievement force the university or college expelthe student from the institution, those things may cause a deep depression in the student. In this moment they feel guilty about all their mistakes, they feel unhappy about themselves, it is sodifficult for them to take a decision than before, they constantly think to suicide but they not are going to do it, sometimes feel nice with life, also they think people around them will be better if theywere death.
As is possible to see depression in students affect dramatically students learning achievement because whole those problems let them not develop correctly in their assignments....
