I look around once more and see my world is covered in familiar sombre hanging haze

I ask myself the question that I've asked myself so many timesin half a million ways

and still the answer doesn't come, there's only cloudiness as I stare in the sky

for every day I wonder why

I never solve the mystery of why you left without a word, nomatter how I try

with every day that passes by

although I do my utmost to dismiss them

the memories return as if on cue

I tell myself that love is dead, butthough the words are in my head

I cannot think of anyone but you

I realise there's little point in searching for the untold reasons of that 'moment when'

I've told myselfrepeatedly forget the past and then somehow you'll learn to love again

but it is just a waste of time, I always seem to see you, and my feelings cry
