1. Contrast the religious practices of ancient Greece with those of today.
A/:
Greeks’religion was polytheistic, that means that they believed in multiple gods; however, Greeks had a God of Gods. His name was Zeus and he was married with his sister Hera that was called as the Goddess ofGoddesses; they were the two principals, but there were many gods and goddesses that lived in the Olympus in Greece. Greeks also believe that they should keep the gods happy, so the gods will not attackthem with anger; and that there was a god of the underworld called Hades, they will meet with him as soon as they die. Greeks pray to Gods to acquire whatever quality the gods were known for.
Today,most religions are monotheistic and the concept of hell and heaven predominates over Hades “taking us forever”. Also now we believe in the concept of “cause and effect” more than many Gods gettingangry because we did something wrong.
