Event Agreement



Agreement for Event Photography

This agreement is entered into on _______________________and is between your studio (hereinafter “…….”) in the state of ____ doing business as your studio and the undersigned (hereinafter “Client”) relating to the event (__________________________________) of_______________________________ and ________________________________ that will take place at _____________________________________________ on______________________________________.


Service Coverage

The parties agree that your studio will furnish services of a professional photographer, your name, for photographic event beginning at ___________ until ___________ (photographic coverage after 10pm is subject to afee of $150 per hour billed to Client). It is understandable that family, friends, and other guests will want snapshots, just so long as this does not interfere with your studio ability to do their work.


Payment Policy and Expenses

The _______________________ Package was purchased which includes items on the last page, and the price will be divided between a retainer fee, $___________(noless than $300), and the remaining balance, which will have the payment schedule below. Any additional purchases and expenses will be listed below. Upon signature, your studio reserves the date and time agreed upon. For this reason, all retainers are non refundable, even if the wedding is cancelled or changed for any reason except noted in Limitation of Liability.

House Rules
The photographer is limited by the guidelines of the ceremony official or reception site management. Clientagrees to accept the technical results of their imposition on the photographer. Negotiation with the officials for alteration of guidelines is Client’s responsibility.

Cancellation or Reschedule
If the event is cancelled, Client forfeits all monies paid. Client must supply written cancellation sent via Certified Mail by the United States Post Office. If Client fails to supply writtencancellation before the event date or cancels within 30 days prior to the event date, Client shall be required to pay the full balance due. If the Client reschedules the event and your studio is able to rebook the event, Client will receive credit only for all monies already paid. A new contract will be required, reflecting pricing in effect after the date change occurred. Your studio will make everyreasonable effort to rebook the event date, however, if Your studio is unable to rebook original event date, Client forfeits the retainer but will receive a credit for all other monies paid. Credit may be applied to wedding coverage within one year of original date provided Thompson’s is available.

Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable effort will be made to produce and deliveroutstanding photographs of the scheduled event, Your studio entire liability to Client for any claim, loss, or injury arising from Your studio performance, or employees of Your studio, is limited to a refund to Client of fees paid.
