One morning in January Mrs Foster was going alone to Paris to visit her daughter who was married to a Frenchman. She loved her grand-children. It took an hourto get to the airport, she said her plane left at eleven. She didn´t want to arrive late. Her husband was going to go with her to the airport to say goodbye.When they were ready to go out her husband told her. He would be with her in a moment. He was just going to wash his hands. She had waited for him. Then herhusband had been walking down the steps slowly. Her husband has promised her that he was going to collect the mail but he was not going to write because hedidn´t like letter writing. When they arrived to the airport there was a lot of people inside and your flight had been delayed. Firstly she waited alone in theairport but then she was announced that the flight had been delayed until eleven o´clock the next morning. The next day she was ready to go but her husband hadgone to get a packet of cigarettes. She said that it was late but her husband said: that he was searching a packet for her daughter. She waited for ten secondand decided not to wait her husband and go to the airport alone. After six week she returned to America. When she arrived to her house she saw some mail on thefloor. There was a strange smell in the air and she phone a service because the lift was stoked between the second and third floors and she said that her legsweren´t too good for walking up a lot of stairs then she sat at her husband´s desk, patiently waiting for the man who would be coming soon to repair the lift.
